All support begins with humility before the one I want to accompany and that is why I must understand that helping is not wanting to master but wanting to serve.

Solidarity yoga classes offered by Yoga Solidarity

“Yoga is an invaluable gift from the ancient Indian tradition. It embodies the unity of mind and body; of thought and action, of restraint and achievement, of harmony between man and nature, and a holistic approach to health and well-being. Yoga is not about exercises, but discovering the sense of unity between us, the world and nature. Postural practice in yoga is not about mastering postures. It is about using postures to know yourself and transform yourself” BKS Iyengar.

“Yoga combines postures, meditation, controlled breathing, recitations of words and other techniques aimed at fulfilling the individual, alleviating pain and allowing a state of liberation. It is practiced at all ages, without discrimination of sex, class or religion and has become popular throughout the world.” (extracted from the UNESCO website)

The practice of yoga aims to open the mind to meditation in order to promote calming of the psychological state, but also to make the individual aware of their spiritual potential.

Free and conscious contribution in return for the Yoga class that you receive, lasting 1h30.

The funds collected are returned to the various beneficiaries supported by Yoga Solidarity.
