Yoga is a priceless gift of the ancient Indian tradition. It embodies the unity of the mind and body; of thought and action; the restraint and achievement; harmony between man and nature, and a holistic approach to health and well-being. Yoga, it is not exercises but discover the sense of unity between us, the world and nature“.

Postural practice in yoga is not designed to control Postures. It’s about using postures to get to know oneself and transform themselves» BKS Iyengar.

The success of Yoga does not lie in the ability to perform postures, but in how it positively changes the way we live our lives and relationships.” — T.K.V. Desikachar

Excerpt from the book “awakening our hearts” by Swami Pramod Chetan Udasin:

At some point in his evolution, the spiritual aspirant can no longer be content to seek, he must become the actor, then the witness of life, that in the utmost independence, but also with a strict discipline. Whatever his journey, motivated by a deep aspiration to the divine, he will find that this thirst for the absolute can only be experienced through Non-duality.

Keep in mind that the practice of yoga is not limited to language or wearing a long beard, a particular hairstyle and outfit. Nor is it limited to sometimes interminable philosophical discussions, but requires noble actions in daily life. The spiritual aspirant does not retreat into a cave or the forest, nor does he indulge in the mere search for postures.

Before being true spiritual seekers, we have a duty to develop a certain ethic and exemplary behaviour. Living in lies, hypocrisy, violence, dishonesty, greed, etc… is incompatible with an authentic spiritual life. Only purity of heart will lead us to the Truth“.
